Can’t say enough wonderful sentiments about Alex... Alex was our nanny from the time my daughter was 16 weeks, through age 2, when she went off to school for early learning. During that time, Alex was instrumental in not only her day-to-day care (excellent), but also her early development. Alex focused on language, physical movement, cognitive thinking, and the social and emotional development that babies/children need. Given my extensive work schedule, Alex was also an overnight caretaker when needed, and was always reliable and responsible. She continues to be in our lives today, and we consider her family. I’m grateful for all the wonderful care she has given (and still gives). Alex will take care of your loved ones (and pets!) as if they were her own.

Alex is an amazing house and pet sitter for our furry family! She cares for our family and home as though they belong to her. She even sends sweet update pics of how the pets are doing, and we feel completely safe with Alex in charge of her home!

Alex has cared for our cats so many times! Whether we had a upcoming trip planned…or in a pinch to find a kitty sitter…she has always been available to help! I prefer using Ms. Alex’s service because of how much she loves and cares for our animals as her own. She is punctual, attentive and always pays close attention to details. Returning home after a trip, the kitties are always happy, their litter box is so clean and my peace of mind is in tact! I will continue to use Ms. Alex’s services for all my kitty sitting needs! 

I have known Alex Stein for 5 years – at which time she became my daughter’s teacher at her pre-school. Alex immediately struck me as kind, thoughtful, intentional, and transparent. She handled any needs I had as a professional and with grace. She did this working under the stress of a high volume early childcare education facility. After my daughter graduated from her classroom, I came to know and work with Alex in a personal capacity. As my father was dying, I often had to leave the state for days or weeks at a time to manage his healthcare. With my husband’s career as a physician, I needed a helping hand, and Alex was it! She handled not only my toddler daughter, but son who is 18 months older. For a mother to leave her 2 and 4 year old long distance, for unknown periods of time to care for a dying parent, you can’t imagine the stress that presented, and the relief that Alex provided. I never flinched when I knew Alex in charge, because she was as good as having me there. On top of being a trusted care provider, who was responsible and caring, Alex went above an beyond! She incorporated racially inclusive and diverse books into my children’s lives, and taught me that representation matters and is simple to execute! Today, my 8 year old and 6.5 year olds are budding social justice advocates and it started with Alex! Any family would be lucky to have her as part of their trusted circle.

We first met Alex 7 years ago when she was a teacher at a local daycare/preschool that our 2 children attended. Ms. Alex quickly became both our children's and our favorite teacher. Her positivity and smile welcomed us at drop-off and pick-up - even after a full day with toddlers! When Alex transitioned to a management position, we continued to hire her for date nights, as well as house sitting and dog/cat sitting. Our dog, Tula, who normally sat in the backyard while any babysitter was present, decided to come in and hang out while Alex was there. Whatever fears she had from previous babysitters was not the same with Alex. When Alex watches our children, I know they are going to do learning activities and be put to bed on time, not be sat in front of the TV for hours with no interaction. I have complete trust in Alex with our children, pets and our house. She is responsible, friendly, ontime, responsive to our needs, very trustworthy, and most importantly, great with our kids (human and furry)! I highly recommend Alex for whatever your needs are.

Where do I start: We have known Alex for over six years. She has watched both my children grow and learn. She was our nanny during COVID (not sure what we would have done without her). She has a wealth of knowledge on child development, is so caring, always punctual, and such a sweet loving addition to our family. We don’t have family in Colorado and she has become part of our family and someone my kids look forward to seeing. She has helped my children blossom into creative thinkers and anyone who has the pleasure of working with her knows how incredible she is with kids.
