I’m Alex, and I live in beautiful Denver, Colorado!

I am an educator, childcare provider, social justice advocate, public speaker, music, wine, travel, and pet lover!

Childhood development is so fascinating and important to me. I enjoy working with children because I love making a difference. The first five years of life are the most crucial for development. Being a part of this fascinating part of a child's life is very rewarding. It's neat to witness how children view the world with a fresh, honest perspective. I love watching them learn and grow, and I love learning from them. Although they are small, they are incredible little teachers.

I have been actively working with children (birth-13) and studying in the Early Childhood Education field since 2004. My education began with a high school elective that allowed students to earn a Childhood Development certification and assist preschool teachers after school. Since then, I have continued my education, and in fact, I am currently studying at the University of Colorado Denver to extend my teaching license. Over the years, I have taught in classrooms, run summer camps and after-school programs, and managed learning centers.

Like many others around the world, Covid-19 brought a lot of change to my life. Some of the positive aspects have been my opportunity to quit a position in management that I was unhappy with to become a private nanny and start my own business! I adore private, one on one care and assisting families. With Ms. Alex, LLC., I Nanny, babysit, pet/home sit, and organize developmentally appropriate and creative play areas.
